Aon is looking for a Senior Broker for Aon Global Client Network – Greater New York Region As part of an industry-leading team, you will help empower results for our clients by delivering innovative and effective solutions to help clients make better decisions. Your impact as a Senior Broker for the Aon Global Client Network (AGCN) TeamThe AGCN Senior Broker is responsible for the management of a complex portfolio of global accounts, including placement and service, and ensuring multinational client deliverables are maintained. This individual is accountable for acting as the AGCN representative for the local office or region on new business opportunities and any training needs for internal and external clients. This individual leads by example as a strong supporter of Aon’s values; Committing to acting as One Firm; United as one diverse and inclusive team; Passionate about making colleagues and clients successful.  The Senior Broker will support clients and colleagues in making better decisions through promoting and ensuring connectivity, collaboration and cooperation within local office practices and functions and fostering the sharing of knowledge, best practices and resources around multinational accounts. Job Responsibilities:The Senior Broker maintains effective and productive relationships with internal and external clientsDesign, placement and servicing of large and complex international casualty insurance programs, including those with alternative risk financing structuresDraft assigned elements of client service plans, stewardship reports, and other presentations tailored to the needs of the audience and the circumstances of the presentation.Liaise with Aon network offices on global program coordination activities, including values collection, premium allocations, and premium trackingExplain general coverages to professional and non-professional insurance buyers who are not familiar with insurance practices. Enlist Aon regional experts to address specialized needsUnderstanding and articulating value of various account service and revenue structures for international insurance programs to internal and external stakeholdersWell-informed of market trends, pricing practices, and other underwriting policies within to communicate to clients and coordinating officesApply logical thinking and past experiences to problems and solutions and recognize when more information is needed to make a decision.Provide international casualty technical expertise to a portfolio of complex multinational accounts, as well and supporting ad hoc requests from colleagues within the office and/or regionDemonstrates unwavering commitment to high performance in the process of regional account management and sets a personal standard of high quality and integrity for self and othersWorking to contribute towards growth and retention targetsMentoring junior broker staff and other key stakeholders on international casualty placements, multinational client service strategies and if required, manage a team of brokers. Build an engaging colleague experience for the team, including providing energy and attention to career development discussions with team members.
