Duties

• Provide legal representation in healthcare regulatory and transactional matters.
• Engage in healthcare privacy, security, and technology issues, including telehealth initiatives.
• Conduct thorough research and analysis on healthcare-related legal issues.
• Draft and review contracts with precision and attention to detail.
• Convey innovative ideas and take ownership of matters in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in healthcare regulatory and transactional matters.
• Strong knowledge of HIPAA and related privacy and security regulations.
• Exceptional written and oral advocacy skills.
• Admission to the North Carolina State Bar in good standing.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Willingness to obtain IAPP CIPP/US certification if not already certified.
