Technology Compliance Vice President
The candidate will be responsible for supporting the development of a targeted compliance framework addressing the laws, rules, and regulations (including regulatory guidance) on these and related topics; will work closely with the Head of Compliance Technology and members of Enterprise Technology as well as the Operational Risk Department and Legal and Compliance Division in identifying and helping to address process enhancements, establishing consistent global policies and procedures and training, and working with the Compliance oversight team on monitoring/testing; will help coordinate responses to regulatory inquiries and exams and provide input into lessons learned and culture programs. Support the build-out and operation of a Compliance coverage function for the Enterprise Technology Division. Among other things, the candidate will: Work closely with the new Head of Compliance Technology to develop a process to address new and changing laws, rules, and regulations (including regulatory guidance) that impact Enterprise Technology. Take the lead on coordinating the creation and revision of Firm policies & procedures, training, and Compliance monitoring/testing. Work on special projects and targeted reviews to support the Head of Compliance Technology. Work with stakeholders to address and report on issues identified through testing, exams, and root cause analyses. Should have Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Finance, and Risk. Management, and/or a similar area of study is beneficial. A Graduate or Law degree is not required but is desirable. Should have a Strong sense of ownership regarding work product; experience in cybersecurity, operational risk, or compliance within the financial services industry or an equivalent role in the Technology industry; experience in analyzing risks and best practices; organized and detail-oriented with strong analytical skills; ability to remain flexible and manage competing priorities under demanding deadlines; strong interpersonal and teamwork skills, as well as excellent oral and written communication skills; excellent written communication skills particularly when drafting policies and/or training materials. Familiarity with PowerPoint, Excel, and SharePoint.
