Patent Litigation Associate Attorney

A law firm in Palo Alto, CA, is seeking a Patent Litigation Associate Attorney with 2-5 years of experience. The ideal candidate will have an interest in learning litigation cases related to computer science or electrical engineering, with a technical degree being a plus. They should also possess experience in providing technical litigation support, including preparing invalidity contentions and charts, as well as preparing infringement contentions and charts. Admission to the California Bar is required.

Duties:

• Conducting legal research and analysis related to patent litigation cases.
• Drafting pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
• Providing technical litigation support, including preparing invalidity contentions and charts, and preparing infringement contentions and charts.
• Assisting with all phases of patent litigation, including discovery, depositions, hearings, and trials.
• Collaborating with clients, expert witnesses, and other legal professionals.

Requirements:

• 2-5 years of experience in patent litigation.
• Interest in computer science or electrical engineering.
• Technical degree preferred.
• Admission to the California Bar.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• Technical degree in computer science or electrical engineering preferred.

Certifications:

Admission to the California Bar.
