Duties

• Handle a diverse caseload involving family law, civil litigation, business law, personal injury, and criminal law.
• Develop case strategies by evaluating legal options and preparing briefs and memoranda.
• Prepare cases by gathering evidence, attending depositions, and consulting with experts.
• Conduct legal research and analysis.
• Draft legal documents including pleadings, motions, briefs, and agreements.
• Represent clients in court proceedings and negotiations.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex cases.
• Stay updated on changes in the legal field and relevant case law.

Requirements

• Proficiency in litigating and negotiating legal matters.
• Strong knowledge of various areas of law including environmental law, securities law, family law, and workers' compensation law.
• Familiarity with legal research tools such as Westlaw.
• Ability to draft legal documents accurately and efficiently.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical abilities.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Valid Bar license.
