Duties

• Draft pleadings, motions, depositions, and briefs.
• Appear in New York courts.
• Manage cases through all stages of litigation.
• Develop and execute cost-effective litigation strategies.
• Organize and track case status, manage calendars, and handle client matters.
• Represent clients in divorce, custody, child support, and related matters.

Requirements

• Knowledge of New York Supreme Court and Family Court procedures.
• Experience in a family/divorce law clinic or relevant internship/clerkship.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admission to the New York State Bar (required).

Skills

• Excellent legal writing and advocacy skills.
