Job Overview:
A nationally recognized law firm is seeking a litigation associate to join its Mass Tort and Product Liability practice in the Minneapolis office. This opportunity is ideal for an attorney with 1 to 3 years of experience in general litigation who has a strong interest in handling complex mass tort, product liability, and potentially class action matters. The firm is seeking candidates who demonstrate excellent legal writing skills, strong academic credentials, and the ability to work both independently and within a collaborative team environment.

Location:

• Minneapolis, Minnesota

• In-office or hybrid arrangements available based on experience and firm policy

Duties:

• Assist in the representation of clients in mass tort and product liability litigation

• Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents

• Conduct legal research and write memoranda and legal briefs

• Participate in discovery, including document review and depositions

• Prepare for and support trial-related activities

• Collaborate with other attorneys and legal staff on case strategy and execution

• Maintain regular communication with clients and meet all deadlines

Requirements:

• 1 to 3 years of general litigation experience in a law firm or judicial clerkship

• Exposure to mass tort and product liability litigation preferred

• Class action litigation experience is a plus

• Ability to work independently on assigned matters and as part of a litigation team

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

• Strong academic record required

Certifications:

• Active license to practice law in Minnesota (required)
