Duties

  • Serve as a public thought leader and represent the firm in various public venues.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with community partners and legal allies.
  • Hire, mentor, and train staff, conducting performance reviews.
  • Perform other duties as required within the job scope.

Requirements

  • At least eight years of federal court civil litigation or comparable legal experience.
  • Minimum of two years of supervisory experience managing legal professionals.
  • Membership in good standing of at least one state bar in the United States, preferably in Alabama, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, Florida, or Washington, D.C.

Education

  • J.D. degree from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Membership in good standing of a state bar.

Skills

  • Exceptional communication and leadership skills.
  • Experience with community organizations and grassroots campaigns.
  • Ability to create vision and think innovatively.
  • Strong collaborative skills with internal and external stakeholders.
