A respected law firm in Lexington, MA, is seeking a seasoned Estate Planning Attorney through a legal recruitment partner. This role offers the opportunity to work with high-net-worth individuals and families on sophisticated estate planning and wealth transfer strategies. The ideal candidate will bring a depth of experience in trust and estate law, along with a client-centered approach to delivering legal solutions.
Duties:
Design and implement comprehensive estate plans, including wills, trusts, and related legal instruments
Guide clients through probate and estate administration processes
Offer strategic advice on tax mitigation, asset protection, and wealth preservation
Collaborate with financial advisors, accountants, and other professionals to ensure holistic planning
Draft and review advanced estate planning documents tailored to client-specific goals
Maintain knowledge of federal and state estate and gift tax laws
Conduct client meetings to discuss planning objectives and present tailored solutions
Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years’ direct experience in estate planning, with a strong record of client engagement
Demonstrated ability to manage complex and high-value estate matters independently
Excellent drafting, communication, and interpersonal skills
Proven track record of collaborative, professional relationships across disciplines
Education:
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
Certifications:
Must be licensed and in good standing with the Massachusetts Bar
Skills:
Deep knowledge of trust and estate law
Proficient in legal research and estate document drafting
Ability to simplify complex legal issues for clients
Skilled in client relationship management and cross-functional collaboration
