Job Overview:
A respected law firm in Lexington, MA, is seeking a seasoned Estate Planning Attorney through a legal recruitment partner. This role offers the opportunity to work with high-net-worth individuals and families on sophisticated estate planning and wealth transfer strategies. The ideal candidate will bring a depth of experience in trust and estate law, along with a client-centered approach to delivering legal solutions.

Duties:

• Design and implement comprehensive estate plans, including wills, trusts, and related legal instruments

• Guide clients through probate and estate administration processes

• Offer strategic advice on tax mitigation, asset protection, and wealth preservation

• Collaborate with financial advisors, accountants, and other professionals to ensure holistic planning

• Draft and review advanced estate planning documents tailored to client-specific goals

• Maintain knowledge of federal and state estate and gift tax laws

• Conduct client meetings to discuss planning objectives and present tailored solutions

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years’ direct experience in estate planning, with a strong record of client engagement

• Demonstrated ability to manage complex and high-value estate matters independently

• Excellent drafting, communication, and interpersonal skills

• Proven track record of collaborative, professional relationships across disciplines

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Must be licensed and in good standing with the Massachusetts Bar

Skills:

• Deep knowledge of trust and estate law

• Proficient in legal research and estate document drafting

• Ability to simplify complex legal issues for clients

• Skilled in client relationship management and cross-functional collaboration
