A law firm seeks a Business Immigration Attorney (Associate) in McLean, VA. The role involves managing immigration case work and leading a team of legal assistants and paralegals. The attorney will report to a Partner or Senior Associate and ensure high-quality service delivery.

Duties

• Represent clients in business immigration law matters.
• Maintain effective communication with clients.
• Oversee and manage legal assistants in case preparation.
• Assign and prioritize case work and projects.
• Train Immigration Assistants and Paralegals.
• Ensure case work quality and consistency.
• Collaborate with other attorneys on case preparation.
• Manage a high-volume caseload efficiently.
• Participate in office projects as needed.
• Assist clients with technical issues during the intake process.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year as a practicing corporate immigration attorney.
• J.D. degree and licensed to practice law in the U.S.
• Excellent English writing and oral communication skills.
• Secondary language skills are a plus.
• Strong organizational and computer skills.

Education

• J.D. degree required.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in the U.S.
