Job Overview

A law firm seeks a mid-level banking associate to join its US banking and loan finance team in Philadelphia, PA. The team represents lenders, private equity sponsors, and companies in lending transactions, including acquisition finance and asset-based lending.

Duties

• Work on a varied portfolio of transactions for both borrowers and lenders.
• Engage in lines of credit, syndicated TLA/TLB transactions, and direct lending transactions.
• Participate in note purchase agreement private placements and receivables financings.
• Handle equipment financings and structured financings.

Requirements

• Significant transactional experience in bank financing transactions.
• Experience with related UCC matters.
• Strong interpersonal skills for effective client interaction.
• Commitment to excellence and a collegial work environment.
• Preference for candidates in New York or Washington DC; consideration for Denver with relevant experience.

Education

• Law degree from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications

• Member of the Bar in the United States.
