Commercial Litigation Associate
The candidate should have a Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school with an excellent academic record. Should have 3-5 years of experience. Admission to the Colorado bar is required. Should have experience with all phases of complex commercial litigation, including fact investigation, legal research, drafting discovery, preparing pleadings, taking and defending depositions, participating in mediations, communicating with opposing counsel and clients, and appearing in court for motions and pre-hearing proceedings. Prior law firm and insurance litigation experience are preferred. Should have the ability to interface directly with attorneys and clients. Should demonstrate an ability to work independently and productively. Exceptional written and oral communication skills are essential. Strong decision-making, problem-solving and organization skills are needed. Outstanding judgment is needed. Should have the ability to effectively handle multiple projects. Should have the ability to develop and implement legal strategies.
