A law firm seeks a skilled Mid-level Associate Attorney to join its insurance defense team in Manhattan, NY. Duties

• Evaluate alleged liability, causation, and injuries related to cases.
• Draft pleadings, discovery demands, responses, and motions.
• Assist in preparing for and conducting depositions.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in New York State.
• 3-5 years of relevant experience, preferably in medical malpractice, dental malpractice, or long-term care negligence.
• Strong analytical, writing, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admission to the New York State Bar is required.
• Admission to the New Jersey Bar is a plus.
