Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage a caseload of complex litigation matters from inception to resolution.
• Serve as 1st or 2nd chair in trials or arbitrations, demonstrating proficiency in courtroom procedures.
• Conduct legal research and analysis, providing insightful and strategic legal advice to clients.
• Draft and review legal documents, pleadings, motions, and other litigation-related materials.
• Collaborate with clients, experts, and other legal professionals to develop effective case strategies.
• Attend court hearings, depositions, and settlement conferences as necessary.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior associates and legal support staff.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in good standing with the California State Bar.
• Minimum of 5 years of litigation experience in a reputable law firm.
• Proven track record of serving as 1st or 2nd chair in trials or arbitrations.
• Strong understanding of California civil litigation procedures and rules.
