Job Overview

A law firm seeks a mid to senior-level associate to join its real estate practice in New York. The ideal candidate will have four to six years of real estate transactional experience, preferably from a large law firm, and will advise clients on commercial real estate transactions, financings, and workouts.

Duties

• Advise clients on commercial real estate transactions.
• Manage real estate financings and workouts.
• Collaborate with colleagues across multiple offices.
• Supervise junior attorneys and paralegals.

Requirements

• Four to six years of real estate transactional experience.
• Experience with real estate finance, purchase and sale, and/or joint ventures preferred.
• Strong drafting skills and excellent academic credentials.
• Comfortable interacting directly with clients.

Education

• Law degree from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications

• Member of the Bar in the United States.
