A law firm based in Washington, D.C., seeks a highly motivated and qualified Blockchain Crypto Associate Attorney. The ideal candidate will possess 2-3 years of relevant experience in a law firm, specifically in private offerings, general venture capital, and tech company corporate transactions. The candidate should have a keen interest in and passion for crypto blockchain technology and businesses, superior academic credentials and exceptional communication skills.

Duties:

• Advise clients on legal issues related to blockchain technology, cryptocurrencies, and digital assets.
• Assisted with structuring, negotiating, and documenting private offerings and venture capital transactions.
• Provide legal counsel on corporate governance and compliance matters related to blockchain and cryptocurrency businesses.
• Conducted due diligence and drafted related corporate transaction documents.
• Stay up-to-date with evolving blockchain and cryptocurrency regulations and ensure compliance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide comprehensive legal support for blockchain and crypto projects.
• Represent clients in regulatory matters before federal and state agencies.
• Conducted legal research and analysis on legal issues related to blockchain and cryptocurrency.

Requirements:

• 2-3 years of corporate law experience in a major law firm.
• Experience with or a demonstrated keen interest in crypto blockchain technology and businesses.
• Membership to the State Bar of DC.
• Excellent academic credentials.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Highly motivated and able to work independently and as part of a team.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active membership in good standing with the State Bar of DC.

Skills:

• Strong understanding of blockchain technology and cryptocurrency markets.
• Proficiency in corporate law, particularly in private offerings and venture capital transactions.
• Superior legal research and analytical skills.
• Excellent organizational and project management abilities.
