Duties:

• Represent clients in workers' compensation defense cases, providing legal counsel and strategic advice.
• Manage a caseload of workers' compensation claims, ensuring timely and efficient case progression.
• Analyze legal documents, medical reports, and other case-related materials to build strong defenses.
• Draft and file legal motions, pleadings, and other necessary court documents.
• Attend depositions, hearings, and trials as required, advocating for the firm's clients.
• Provide exceptional client service, maintaining communication and ensuring client satisfaction.
• Collaborate with a team of legal professionals to develop case strategies and resolve disputes effectively.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in workers' compensation defense or a related legal field.
• Strong knowledge of workers’ compensation laws, procedures, and regulations.
• Proven experience in litigation, including motion practice, depositions, and trial preparation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
• Detail-oriented and able to think critically and strategically.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active license to practice law in California.
