Location:

• Plymouth, Michigan

Duties:

• Draft legal documents including briefs, motions, pleadings, and client correspondence

• Perform legal research to support case development and courtroom presentation

• Meet and consult with clients to evaluate legal strategies and recommend options

• Identify and resolve client conflicts; determine effective case strategies

• Prepare for and represent clients at hearings and legal proceedings

• Collaborate with administrative staff for client billing, scheduling, and record-keeping

• Maintain accurate and timely case documentation

• Contribute to the firm’s overall client service and case resolution efforts

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1–2 years of experience practicing in a law firm environment

• Ability to manage multiple case files and work independently

• Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills

• Excellent interpersonal and public speaking abilities

• Family law experience (preferred but not required)

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active license to practice law in the state of Michigan

Skills:

• Legal research proficiency using Westlaw or Lexis

• Excellent legal writing and analytical skills

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

• Organizational skills and attention to detail
