A law firm in San Diego is actively seeking an experienced Employment Associate Attorney with 3-5 years of specialized expertise in wage and hour cases and single-plaintiff employment matters. The ideal candidate will be licensed in California and possess strong writing skills, demonstrating the ability to be a self-starter, disciplined, and proactive. The role involves deposition taking, defending depositions, trial preparation, and trial experience.

Duties:

• Handle wage and hour cases and single-plaintiff employment matters.
• Take and/or defend depositions.
• Prepare for trial and/or have trial experience.

Requirements:

• Licensure in California is required.
• 3-5 years of experience in wage and hour and single-plaintiff employment cases.
• Strong writing skills.
• Self-starter, disciplined, and proactive approach to legal work.

Education:

J.D. from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

An active member of the California Bar.

Skills:

• Proficient in legal writing and research.
• Ability to take and defend depositions.
• Experience in trial preparation and/or trial experience.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
