Duties

• Conduct discovery, evaluate liability and damages, and prepare cases for trial.

• Draft motion papers and appellate briefs.
• Participate in bench trials.

• Work independently and in teams to complete projects.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor degree.
• Licensed to practice law in the States of NJ and NY.
• Ability to stay organized and meet rigid deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of general litigation experience, including writing and trials.
• Courtroom experience.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, including active listening, negotiation, and persuasion.
• Excellent analytical skills, including critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making.
• Well-developed written communication skills.

Education

• Doctorate (Juris Doctor degree required).

Certifications

• Active license to practice law in NJ and NY (required); PA a plus.
