The Business Intelligence Engineer 2 solves complex business problems and issues using data from internal and external sources to provide insight to decision-makers. The Business Intelligence Engineer 2 work assignments are varied and frequently require interpretation and independent determination of the appropriate courses of action.

Be a part of the Clinical Operations world - connect with consumers and expand future opportunity.

Humana is seeking an individual to research processes, analyze data, report metrics and consult on best practices focused around the proactive dialer systems.

Execute special analysis projects along with regularly scheduled reporting responsibilities

Create reports to assist in the on-going management of existing projects and the maintenance of key performance measures

Develop one-time analyses, on-demand reports, and scheduled reports using database queries.

Provide analysis of reports to inform business decisions and improve business processes.

Identify and document data quality issues and data capture gaps.

Review, evaluate, and implement functional and system requirements, interacting with users through various phases of design, implementation, and maintenance.

Identify the root cause and recommend solutions based upon data and feedback on issues as they relate to people, process and technology to ensure process efficiency.

Collaborate with operational leaders. Provide actionable and timely insights to business leaders on operational performance through the development and maintenance of daily, weekly, and monthly operational tools/reports.

Work with business users to define and document requirements for analytics projects

Work with cross-functional teams as an essential contributor to the due diligence process. Perform routine and ad-hoc data analysis to support business needs.

Facilitate communication between business users and IT partners.

Communicate results to multiple levels in the organization

Roles Essentials

Bachelors degree or above.

Data analysis experience.

Intermediate to advanced proficiency in report modeling.

Advanced proficiency in SQL, MS Excel, VBA, MS Access, Word and Outlook.

Strong communication and organizational skills.

Strong analytical skills and creative problem-solving ability with attention to detail.

Experience working with large amounts of data.

Ability to multi-task and work in a very fast-paced environment.

Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to develop collaborative working relationships across multiple functional areas in the organization.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Financial and business acumen; ability to put context around data and find root cause issues specific to data.

Ability to think 'outside the box'; ability to identify issues and provide resolutions quickly.

Demonstrate critical thinking.

Experience with a proactive dialer solution

Role Desirables

Advanced experience with Microsoft Excel

Macro experience and/or knowledge of relational databases.

Capacity to learn new technologies.

Prior work history in a fast-paced environment.

History of working with Five9 dialer system

Reporting Relationships

You will report to a Director.
