A law firm seeks a bilingual (English/Spanish) attorney with over five years of experience in immigration law to join their team in San Diego, CA. This hybrid position offers flexibility, mentorship, and the opportunity to advocate for immigrants before USCIS and EOIR.

Duties

• Represent clients in removal proceedings and USCIS matters.
• Draft and review legal filings, motions, and applications.
• Supervise legal assistants and paralegals to ensure high-quality submissions.
• Collaborate on case strategy and client preparation.
• Maintain timely communication with clients and team members.
• Contribute to firm-wide goals and KPIs.

Requirements

• Licensed attorney in any U.S. state.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in immigration law, especially EOIR and family-based immigration.
• Fluent in English and Spanish.
• Strong litigation, legal writing, and research skills.
• Tech-savvy with MS 365, PDFs, and case management tools.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage deadlines.
• Compassionate advocate for immigrants and trauma survivors.
• Willing to commute to the Escondido office.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Bar admission in any U.S. state.

Skills

• Fluency in English and Spanish.
• Strong legal writing and research abilities.
• Proficiency with MS 365 and case management tools.
