A law firm seeks a mid-level Litigation Associate with complex litigation experience to join their Washington, DC office. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in general litigation and be prepared to take on significant responsibilities within the firm.

Duties

• Engage in complex litigation, motion practice, and trial preparation.
• Draft and edit pleadings, briefs, and other legal documents.
• Conduct witness interviews and manage discovery processes.
• Prepare for and conduct depositions, arbitrations, and trials.
• Lead and manage multiple significant legal matters simultaneously.

Requirements

• 4th to 5th year associate with complex litigation experience.
• Demonstrated leadership in case management and firm activities.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.
• Clerkship experience preferred.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Bar admission in the jurisdiction of practice.

Skills

• Excellent academic credentials and legal writing skills.
• Proficiency in conducting depositions and trial preparation.
• Ability to manage multiple cases and work under pressure.
