The candidate conducts research, develops asset-protection strategies, prepares legal documents, presents options to clients, and attends court appearances in all facets. Regularly consults with supervising attorneys and provides the status of cases. Demonstrative knowledge of Trust & Estates law, Public Benefit law, legal proceedings, and processes. Handles estate planning and/or estate administration, public benefits applications, elder law, and asset protection plans. Counsels clients regarding owned financial products and understand income and estate tax. Manages legal matters of moderate complexity. Assists and supports senior attorneys in handling complex cases. Conducts various forms of legal research and searches for legal recommendations. Advises clients of their legal rights and obligations. Integrates best practices and standards in handling clients and their cases. Manages and retains client relationships independently. Anticipates client needs and proactively moves cases forward. Prepares pleadings, motions, briefs, agreements, and other types of legal documents, including but not limited to trusts, wills, powers of attorney, and health care proxies. Attends hearings, conferences, client meetings, and court appearances. Should be proven infrastructure providing outstanding operational support; strong, current, and efficient technology platform; experienced and supportive staff committed.
