Job Overview:

The Civil Litigation Associate Attorney will be responsible for representing clients in civil litigation matters, providing legal advice, conducting legal research, drafting legal documents, and participating in all phases of the litigation process. The ideal candidate should possess strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills, along with high motivation and responsiveness to clients.

Duties:

• Represent clients in civil litigation proceedings, including drafting pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
• Conduct legal research and analysis to support litigation strategy and case preparation.
• Prepare for and participate in hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and the court.
• Manage case files and deadlines in an organized and efficient manner.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and legal staff on case strategy and client matters.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards by legal regulations.

Requirements:

• 2-7 years of complex litigation experience, preferably in civil litigation.
• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admitted to the Florida Bar or eligibility for admission via reciprocity.
• Strong negotiation, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues.
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload effectively.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and thoroughness in work product.
• Demonstrated professionalism and integrity in all interactions.

Education and Certifications:
