This role is ideal for an experienced attorney with a portable book of business who is passionate about advising clients on complex global trade issues, customs compliance, and regulatory strategies. The attorney will work closely with a highly regarded team across multiple major offices.

Advise business clients on customs compliance, tariff classification, valuation, and transfer pricing matters
Provide counsel regarding forced labor compliance and enforcement of antidumping and countervailing duties
Guide clients through U.S. and international trade regulations
Manage customs audits, investigations, and trade-related enforcement proceedings
Advise on global trade agreements and the structuring of cross-border transactions
Represent clients before regulatory authorities on import and trade-related matters
Collaborate with other practice groups to handle interdisciplinary client matters
Participate in client development initiatives and strategic business growth
Minimum of 7 years of experience in international trade law, including tariff classification, customs valuation, forced labor compliance, and customs enforcement proceedings
Portable book of business required
Ability to manage complex projects and high-level client portfolios independently
Client-centered approach with excellent service and strategic thinking
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an ABA-accredited law school
Active license to practice law
Expertise in U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) regulations and Department of Commerce enforcement practices
In-depth understanding of antidumping and countervailing duty laws
Strong legal research, analysis, and drafting abilities
Effective project management and case leadership skills
Ability to provide practical, business-focused legal solutions
Strategic client counseling and relationship-building abilities
