A law firm seeks a motivated and experienced Product Liability Attorney in White Plains, NY. Duties

• Manage general litigation and product liability matters from inception through resolution.
• Conduct file review and legal analysis of claims, defenses, and causes of action.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery demands, and other litigation-related filings.
• Handle depositions, court appearances, motion practice, mediations, and trial preparation.
• Participate in trial preparation and attend trial proceedings as necessary.
• Conduct legal research and provide strategic legal advice to clients.
• Retain and work with expert witnesses.
• Negotiate settlements and handle alternative dispute resolution proceedings.
• Maintain strong client relationships through responsiveness and adherence to client guidelines.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and legal support staff.
• Manage deadlines and ensure compliance with court and procedural requirements.

Requirements

• Admission to practice in the State of New York (Admission to New Jersey, Connecticut, and/or Pennsylvania is a plus).
• 3-8 years of experience in general litigation and product liability matters.
• Exceptional writing, research, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with team members.
• Federal Court experience is a plus.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admission to the State Bar of New York.
