The candidate responsibilities typically include: interviewing clients, providing legal advice through oral and written communication, conducting outreach or know-your-rights programs, researching and drafting legal memos and court pleadings, and supporting attorneys with pending litigation and other advocacy projects. Law student interns (including rising 2Ls) may also have the opportunity to argue motions in court, participate in trials, or represent clients at administrative hearings. Proficiency in Spanish is preferred. Other foreign language abilities are welcome.
