Duties

• Defend bodily injury claims from automobile accidents through resolution, including trial.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and legal memoranda.
• Appear in New York State courts for motion practice, depositions, and trials.
• Communicate with clients, insurance carriers, adjusters, and claims professionals.
• Collaborate with partners and senior attorneys on complex matters.

Requirements

• Admission to practice law in the State of New York (required).
• Experience in insurance defense, specifically bodily injury defense, premises liability, and/or no-fault defense.
• Strong written and oral advocacy skills.
• Ability to manage an active caseload with professionalism and attention to detail.
• A team-oriented mindset and desire to grow with a boutique firm.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in New York.
