Duties
Evaluate and analyze the merits of personal injury cases through legal research and medical documentation
Provide legal counsel and regular case updates to clients
Supervise and guide legal support staff with professionalism and empathy
Draft legal documents including demand letters
Negotiate settlements with insurance companies to achieve optimal outcomes
Identify and resolve legal and medical issues relevant to case value and liability
Review and analyze medical treatment, billing, liens, and collateral sources
Maintain proactive communication with clients and internal teams
Assist clients in coordinating appropriate medical care and benefits
Optionally participate in litigation proceedings, including depositions and hearings
May contribute to business development efforts (book of business is a plus)
Requirements
Minimum of 7 years of experience in personal injury law
No history of malpractice or disciplinary actions
Demonstrated ability to manage a high-volume caseload
Effective supervision and leadership of support teams
Strong client service and case management skills
Education
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
Certifications
Active member in good standing with the Florida Bar (Required)
Skills
