Duties

• Manage comprehensive case files, including legal research, discovery, and factual investigations.
• Review and analyze medical records and detailed medical chronologies.
• Draft legal documents such as memoranda, pleadings, motions, briefs, and case progress reports.
• Represent clients at depositions, hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials.
• Maintain accurate and contemporaneous time records for all billable activities.
• Meet established billable hour targets while ensuring quality and efficiency.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
• Collaborate with team members and support staff to ensure optimal case outcomes.
• Stay current on relevant legal developments and industry trends.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of civil litigation experience.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication abilities.
• Proficiency with legal research tools and case management software.
• A robust work ethic and commitment to excellence.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admission to the state bar.

Skills

• Experience in insurance defense litigation preferred.
• Trial experience preferred.
• Familiarity with motor vehicle and premises liability matters preferred.
