The firm is on the lookout for an accomplished individual with a proven history of generating substantial business revenue. The ideal candidate should boast a minimum of 8 years of pertinent experience in the field. Collaboration with existing firm partners and departments to capitalize on cross-selling opportunities and cultivate client relationships will also be paramount. Moreover, the Tax Partner will be charged with keeping abreast of dynamic tax laws and regulations, ensuring that clients remain well-informed and in compliance. The partner will further represent clients during negotiations, mediation, and tax-related litigation while nurturing robust client relationships as a trusted advisor and advocate. Active involvement in professional organizations, networking, and thought leadership endeavors will contribute to the firm's growth and reputation. To qualify for this role, candidates must hold a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school and maintain active, good standing with the California State Bar. With a minimum of 8 years of legal experience specializing in tax law, candidates should possess a demonstrated ability to generate portable revenue exceeding $200,000. Strong leadership, effective team management, and exceptional interpersonal skills are prerequisites for success. Proficiency in tax research, analysis, and legal documentation is essential, as is the capacity to thrive both independently and as part of a collaborative, fast-paced legal environment. The ability to identify and seize new business opportunities underscores the need for strong business acumen. The sole certification required is an active California State Bar License.
