Duties

• Conduct thorough legal research and case analysis

• Draft legal documents including pleadings, motions, briefs, and contracts

• Prepare for and participate in trials, hearings, and depositions

• Collaborate with clients to understand their legal needs and provide sound counsel

• Manage and maintain accurate case files and documentation

• Utilize Lexis-Nexis and other research tools for gathering relevant legal information

• Stay updated on legislative and regulatory changes impacting client matters

Requirements

• Proven experience with legal administrative tasks preferred

• Familiarity with litigation processes and courtroom appearances

• Knowledge and experience in Family Law and Estate Planning

• Ability to draft legal documents with precision

• Strong client service orientation and ability to handle sensitive matters discreetly

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications

• Admission to the Florida Bar

Skills

• Strong legal research and writing abilities

• Proficient in using legal research tools (e.g., Lexis-Nexis)

• Knowledge in areas such as Divorces, Custody, Pre and Post Marital Agreements, and Estate Planning

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Keen attention to detail and strong organizational skills
