Associate Attorney needed for Longview office

A growing family law firm in Longview, WA, is seeking a highly motivated Associate Attorney to join their team. The firm handles a wide variety of family law matters, including divorce, child custody, and other domestic relations cases. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, client-focused, and comfortable handling both virtual and in-person court appearances.

Location:

• Longview, WA

Duties:

• Conduct legal research and draft legal documents.
• Represent clients in court and negotiations, primarily in Clark and Cowlitz Counties.
• Work closely with a team of 4 other attorneys and staff on legal cases.
• Collaborate with an experienced paralegal team to ensure compliance with firm templates and maintain case files.
• Cover cases for other attorneys, as needed.
• Provide support and legal counsel to clients during challenging times.

Requirements:

• Active Washington State Bar membership (or in the process of obtaining).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Washington State Bar Membership (Required).

• Ability to represent clients effectively in court and negotiate settlements.
