A prominent law firm in Tampa, Florida, is seeking an experienced Employment Litigation Attorney to join their growing team. This role requires a highly skilled individual with significant experience in federal court litigation, including depositions, electronic discovery, and motion practice. The ideal candidate will demonstrate expertise in employee rights and a strong commitment to justice. Remote work is possible, but the candidate must be eligible to practice law in Florida and good standing with the Florida Bar.

Duties:

• Handle complex employment litigation matters, primarily in federal courts.
• Take and defend depositions of parties and witnesses.
• Manage electronic discovery and assist with document review.
• Draft and argue motions, including summary judgment motions and discovery motions.
• Conduct legal research and prepare comprehensive legal memoranda.
• Represent clients in hearings and other court proceedings.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and legal staff to strategize and prepare cases.
• Advise clients on employment-related legal issues.

Requirements:

• 5-10 years of experience in employment litigation, with a focus on federal court practice.
• Proven experience in taking depositions, handling electronic discovery, and motion practice.
• Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high levels of professionalism.
• Must be a member in good standing with the Florida Bar.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admitted to practice law in Florida, in good standing.

Skills:

• Advanced knowledge of employment law and litigation strategies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and case management abilities.
• Proficiency in legal research tools and databases.
• Experience with electronic discovery platforms.
