Business Immigration Associate Attorney
Duties: Counsel clients and oversee high-volume of business immigration cases including immigrant and nonimmigrant employment-based matters including H1B, TN, L-1A and L-1B, O-1, E-2, E-3, EB-1 and National Interest Waivers and PERM processes, as well as federal court challenges and compliance audits.. Prepare employment-based immigration petitions and applications, including Requests for Further Evidence, Appeals and Audits by the Department of Labor.. Prioritize, organize and delegate work load to Legal Assistant(s). Consult with Senior Associate Attorneys on potential case issues and proceeding case strategy. Draft correspondence to clients and relevant administrative agency, as well as communicate directly with same when applicable. Maintain organized, legally compliant client files, monitor deadlines and progress of individuals cases. Conduct legal research regarding regulations and procedures in immigration law. Contribute to the development of practice processes to ensure team operates efficiently and effectively.
