Duties: Handles complicated cases requiring original drafting under minimal Attorney supervision. Consistently produces high quality work requiring minimal changes upon Attorney review. Manages deadlines, tracks case status, and ensure client needs are met. Contribute to preliminary case analysis and strategy discussions with Attorneys for immigration benefits requiring documentation of contributions to business, science, medicine, the arts and other fields of endeavor. Analyze and edit both draft and final versions of supporting documents that explain clients’ scientific, technical, artistic or other achievements, and review supporting documentation from clients for inclusion in immigration petitions and applications. Review, edit and return assigned work to writers in a timely way, being sensitive at all times to a deadline-driven workflow. Assist writers to improve the written material to ensure. Legal eligibility standards are addressed Consistency, clarity, and succinctness sentence structure, grammar, spelling, and punctuation. Responds to clients in a professional manner at all times to best represent the firm and expand business. Communicates complicated information to clients with limited supervision. Track expiration dates and milestones of assigned cases, and cases assigned to writers, to ensure work is completed in a timely manner. Perform initial review prior to Attorney’s final review of writers’ work product. Receives and responds to incoming telephone and email inquiries from clients and other attorneys associated with pending cases. Adds value to group by assuming Administrative duties, such as training writers, client communications and client development.
