Duties

• Manage and support general liability and insurance defense cases, including auto accident and premises liability matters.
• Conduct legal research and draft motions, pleadings, and other legal documents.
• Handle written discovery, including drafting and responding to requests.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Prepare for and attend court hearings and proceedings.
• Assist in developing case strategies and litigation plans.
• Make in-person court appearances as required.

Requirements

• 3 to 5 years of relevant litigation experience in insurance defense or commercial litigation.
• Experience with auto accident, premises liability, or similar matters preferred.
• Ability to manage cases and litigation tasks effectively.
• Willingness to attend in-person proceedings when needed.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active membership in good standing with the California State Bar.
