Assistant / Associate Professor - Business Law
The candidate teaching responsibilities include three courses (face-to-face or online format) per semester at the undergraduate or graduate level. Will possess the ability to teach diverse legal topics and their business applications. Intellectual contributions are expected in one or more of the following areas: technology, international law, business associations, contracts, environmental law, employment law, ethics, marketing or hospitality law. Must meet the AACSB accreditation requirements regarding academic qualification of college of business faculty. The AACSB requirements for academic qualification mandate a minimum level of relevant research and publication. Duty assignment may involve distance and/or online delivery methodologies. Will be expected to advise students, be involved in appropriate student organizations, and fulfill normal institutional service obligations. Ability to maintain an active research agenda resulting in scholarship in refereed journals is expected. Must have a JD degree from an ABA accredited law school. Should preferably have 5 years’ undergraduate or graduate teaching experience. Established record of intellectual contributions.
