Location

Duties

• Support senior attorneys in the defense of complex civil litigation matters

• Draft and respond to discovery, pleadings, and motions

• Conduct legal research and prepare legal memoranda

• Participate in depositions, hearings, and mediations

• Contribute to trial preparation for cases involving significant exposures, including fatalities and catastrophic injuries

• Collaborate closely with shareholders and fellow associates in a team-based litigation model

• Manage client communication and case strategy with increasing responsibility over time

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of civil litigation experience

• Background in any of the following areas is preferred:

  • Premises liability

  • Construction defect or injury

  • Product liability

  • Rideshare or commercial auto/trucking defense

  • Public entity and civil rights defense

• Strong work ethic and commitment to professional growth

• Demonstrated ability to thrive in a collaborative legal environment

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications

• Active member in good standing with the Florida Bar

Skills

• Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills

• Strong oral and written communication abilities

• Ability to think proactively and problem-solve creatively

• Capable of managing complex legal issues with attention to detail

• Desire to develop litigation skills under structured mentorship
