Must be admitted to practice law in the jurisdiction of residence and the license must be active and in good standing. Should have clerked in an appellate court, preferably a federal appellate court; written appellate briefs in state and federal court; have a desire to grow and expand current client base and legal experience; and be admitted to the Appellate Bar of one or more federal circuit courts. If a candidate has 10+ years of experience in appellate law, the candidate should preferably also have orally argued four or more appellate cases in state and federal court and be known as an appellate attorney in the attorney's local or regional community.
