Duties

• Participate in all stages of litigation and trial work
• Conduct extensive legal research and draft legal pleadings
• Appear in court to advocate for clients
• Prepare custom contracts and loan documents
• Complete commercial foreclosures, both judicial and nonjudicial
• Organize and maintain case files and document management systems
• Manage calendaring of deadlines and task lists
• Collaborate effectively with clients and opposing counsel
• Support attorneys and paralegals in all matters

Requirements

• Relevant experience as an associate attorney
• Ability to independently manage assigned caseload
• Knowledge of state and federal court rules and filing procedures
• Excellent attention to detail and case management skills
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite and Sage Timeslips (preferred)
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude
• Proficient in legal research using Lexis-Nexis or similar
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Education

• J.D. from an accredited law school

Certifications

• Admitted to practice in Washington State
