Job Title: Family Law Attorney

Job Overview:
A law firm located in Tempe, AZ, is seeking a skilled and motivated Family Law Attorney to join their growing team. This role provides an opportunity for professionals passionate about family law to manage a diverse caseload, including cases related to divorce, paternity, custody disputes, child support enforcement, adoptions, and other civil litigation matters. The ideal candidate will enjoy working with a supportive staff and management team in a collaborative environment.

Duties:

• Manage and oversee a full caseload of family law cases from start to finish
• Advise clients on legal matters related to divorce, child custody, child support, adoption, and other family law issues
• Represent clients in court, negotiating settlements and advocating on their behalf
• Draft legal documents, including motions, pleadings, and client communications
• Collaborate with support staff to ensure timely completion of casework
• Maintain clear, professional, and consistent communication with clients
• Stay updated on developments in family law to provide informed legal advice

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree
• Active and good-standing membership with the Arizona State Bar
• Minimum of 3 years of experience practicing family law
• Demonstrated ability to manage cases independently
• Strong understanding of family law principles and practices
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active membership in good standing with the Arizona State Bar

Skills:

• Proficient in family law principles
• Strong legal research and writing abilities
• Effective negotiation and conflict resolution skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Bilingual skills (Spanish) are an asset
