Job Overview:
A leading law firm is seeking a Complex Litigation Associate Attorney to join its San Francisco office. Location:

Duties:
Independently manage a complex litigation caseload from inception through resolution
Work closely with other attorneys and partners on case strategy and execution
Conduct trial preparation, investigations, court appearances, mediations, and depositions
Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, legal memoranda, and other related legal documents
Communicate with clients, providing regular case updates and strategic counsel
Contribute to client meetings and support in-house counsel interactions
Requirements:
2–8 years of defense litigation experience
Experience in defending personal injury, general liability, catastrophic injury, transportation, and related civil litigation matters preferred
Prior client-facing experience is desirable
Ability to manage a high-volume caseload effectively
Legal project management experience is beneficial
Strong ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-driven environment
Education:
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
Certifications:
Admission to practice law in the State of California
Skills:
Superior analytical, research, and legal writing skills
Strong oral advocacy and communication abilities
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to collaborate across legal teams and departments
