A multi-state litigation law firm is seeking a motivated and results-driven Associate Attorney for its Milwaukee, Wisconsin office. The role focuses on consumer collections litigation and offers hands-on experience across the full life cycle of legal proceedings. Location:

• Milwaukee, Wisconsin

Duties:

• Represent clients in consumer collection matters in and out of court

• Draft and review pleadings, briefs, correspondence, and other legal documents

• Conduct legal research and interpret laws, rulings, and court procedures

• Attend hearings, trials, and mediations across Wisconsin

• Negotiate with opposing counsel and pro se parties for case resolution

• Maintain clear communication with clients and internal teams

• Accurately document case activity according to firm and client standards

• Stay updated on federal and state consumer protection laws and court rule changes

• Participate in CLEs, seminars, and internal training sessions

Requirements:

• Licensed to practice law in the State of Wisconsin (active and in good standing)

• Litigation experience; consumer collections experience preferred but not required

• Knowledge of civil litigation and relevant consumer protection laws (e.g., FDCPA)

• No prior disciplinary history

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active Wisconsin Bar license
