Job Overview

A law firm seeks an experienced midlevel associate to join their Corporate M&A team in Pittsburgh, PA. This role offers the opportunity to work in various locations, including Boston, Charleston, Charlotte, Miami, Nashville, Portland, Raleigh, or Seattle. The ideal candidate will have three to five years of Corporate M&A experience, with a preference for private equity transaction experience.

Duties

• Draft, review, and negotiate merger agreements, stock purchase agreements, and related documents.
• Manage and close M&A and related transactions.
• Conduct legal due diligence.
• Advise clients on general corporate and business matters.
• Work with representation and warranty insurance underwriting.

Requirements

• Three to five years of Corporate M&A experience.
• Experience with partnership agreements and joint ventures.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong academic credentials and excellent communication skills.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admission to the bar in the relevant jurisdiction.

Skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent negotiation and drafting abilities.
