Duties:
- Represent clients in a variety of litigation matters, including civil disputes, business litigation, and appeals
- Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents
- Conduct legal research and provide recommendations on complex legal issues
- Manage case files from inception through resolution, including court appearances and depositions
- Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop legal strategies and ensure the best outcomes for clients
- Participate in discovery, settlement negotiations, and trial preparation
- Maintain a high level of organization, attention to detail, and accuracy in all aspects of case management
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of litigation experience
- Experience with appellate litigation is preferred
- Strong research, writing, and analytical skills
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
- Ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative team environment
- Proven ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines
- Active license to practice law in Indiana
Education:
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
Certifications:
- Licensed to practice law in Indiana
Skills:
- Litigation expertise, including trial preparation and case management
- Strong legal writing and research capabilities
- Negotiation and dispute resolution skills
- Proficiency in legal software and tools
