Job Overview

A law firm seeks a high-performing Real Estate Finance Associate in Atlanta, Georgia. The successful candidate will join a dynamic team, working closely with partners and clients on diverse real estate transactions and projects. This role offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience and collaborate with colleagues across the firm.

Duties

• Represent clients in acquisition, disposition, development, financing, and leasing of real property.
• Draft and negotiate real estate-related contracts, including purchase and sale agreements and commercial leases.
• Coordinate and close real estate transactions, including due diligence and zoning analysis.
• Advise on construction, development, and joint venture arrangements.
• Mentor junior associates and oversee work streams.

Requirements

• Minimum of 6 years of sophisticated real estate practice experience.
• Commercial real estate finance experience required.
• Experience in acquisitions, dispositions, financings, leasing, and development matters.
• Lender-side financing experience preferred.
• Previous law firm experience required.
• Must be licensed to practice law in Georgia and in good standing.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree required.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in the State of Georgia.
