FT Assistant Program Director

Profile

Full-time Assistant Program Director: for two residential, trauma-informed shelters and advocacy programs serving women and their children who have experienced domestic violence. Shelters are located in Kent and Sussex Counties. The position requires an Associate's degree and experience working with people who have experienced domestic violence or other traumas. Bachelor's degree in a related field and supervisory experience are preferred. Strong communication skills, flexibility, and team orientation are required. Major job responsibilities include direct supervision of residential support staff, staff scheduling, training, and evaluating staff; responding to hotline calls; compiling statistical reports for grant reporting purposes and utilizing a database. This position reports to Program Director. The position includes some evening and weekend hours and on-call responsibilities. Must be able to drive and have a satisfactory driving record. Must pass all required background checks.
