A law firm seeks a qualified associate attorney to support its Arizona practice in Phoenix, AZ. This position involves handling a significant volume of cases in the field of creditor's rights and offers a competitive benefits package.

Duties

• Manage a high volume of mortgage foreclosure and collections cases.
• Resolve issues in discovery practice, depositions, and conflict resolution.
• Make court appearances and travel as required for hearing coverage.
• Develop relationships to be viewed as a trusted partner and advisor.
• Assist in growing the firm's presence as a top-performing firm.

Requirements

• Member in good standing of the AZ state Bar.
• Licensed or able to obtain a license in Arizona federal district and bankruptcy courts.
• 5+ years of experience in mortgage foreclosure and collections.
• Familiarity with the New York legal system.
• Appellate experience and knowledge of TILA, RESPA, FDCPA, and the Bankruptcy Code preferred.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Bar License in the state of AZ (required).
• Additional state licenses are a plus.
